1. Introduction

Welcome to TrustShip. By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

TrustShip is a technology platform that helps WhatsApp sellers automatically capture, parse, and verify orders. We are not a logistics company, courier service, or shipping aggregator.

2. Who Can Use TrustShip

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be a legitimate business seller and comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
  • You must have a valid WhatsApp Business number.
  • You must provide accurate business information during signup.
  • TrustShip reserves the right to reject or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. What TrustShip Does

  • Connects to your WhatsApp Business number via Meta's official API.
  • Reads incoming messages to identify and parse order information.
  • Runs automated verification checks on orders.
  • Sends WhatsApp messages to your buyers for order confirmation.
  • Provides an order management dashboard.

TrustShip does not handle physical shipping, payments between seller and buyer, or logistics operations.

4. What TrustShip Does NOT Do

  • TrustShip is not responsible for shipping, delivery, or courier operations.
  • TrustShip does not handle cash on delivery payments.
  • TrustShip does not guarantee delivery of any shipment.
  • TrustShip does not mediate disputes between sellers and their buyers.
  • TrustShip does not provide refunds for shipping costs or lost shipments.
  • Shipping is entirely the seller's responsibility.

5. WhatsApp Integration & Meta Policies

  • By connecting your WhatsApp number to TrustShip, you agree to Meta's WhatsApp Business API Terms of Service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp via TrustShip complies with Meta's policies.
  • TrustShip sends automated messages to your buyers — you are responsible for ensuring your buyers have opted in to receive such messages.
  • TrustShip cannot be held responsible for WhatsApp service interruptions, message delivery failures, or Meta policy changes.

6. Your Data & Your Buyers' Data

  • You are responsible for your buyers' data shared through TrustShip.
  • You must have legitimate basis for sharing buyer information (name, phone, address) with TrustShip.
  • TrustShip stores this data securely to provide the service.
  • TrustShip does not sell buyer or seller data to third parties.

7. Early Access & Pricing

  • TrustShip is currently free during Early Access.
  • We reserve the right to introduce pricing at any time.
  • We will notify all users at least 30 days before any charges apply.
  • Early Access users will receive preferential pricing when paid plans are introduced.
  • Continued use after pricing introduction means acceptance of new pricing terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TrustShip to:

  • Process fraudulent or fake orders.
  • Spam buyers with unsolicited messages.
  • Violate Meta's WhatsApp Business policies.
  • Sell prohibited or illegal products.
  • Misrepresent your business or products to buyers.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy TrustShip's technology.

9. Service Availability

  • TrustShip aims for high availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
  • TrustShip is not liable for losses due to service interruptions.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • TrustShip's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 3 months (currently zero during Early Access).
  • TrustShip is not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, RTO losses, or business disruption.
  • TrustShip is not liable for actions of third parties including Meta or external courier partners.

11. Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from dashboard settings.
  • TrustShip can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • On termination, your data will be retained for 90 days then permanently deleted.
  • You can request immediate data deletion by emailing contact@trustship.site.

12. Changes to Terms

  • TrustShip may update these terms from time to time.
  • We will notify you via email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect.
  • Continued use after changes means acceptance of new terms.

13. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction.
  • Any disputes will be subject to courts in the jurisdiction of the business owner.
